On November 15, 2019, the 1st Japanese-Russian Forum and business negotiations of small and medium enterprises organized by the Japan Center for the Development of Trade and Economic Relations at the Embassy of Japan in Moscow with the support of the Moscow representative of the Japan external trade organization (JETRO) took place at the Embassy of Japan in Moscow.

Mr. Kozuki Toyohisa, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Russia, Director of the federal budgetary institution “Federal Resource Center for the Organization of Management Training” Mr. Bunkin Alexey and Director of the Japan Center for the Development of Trade and Economic Relations, Mr. Hamano Michihiro took part in the forum.

The forum was attended by representatives of Asian-Pacific Bank – Mr. Krivtsov Konstantin and Mr. Fedotkin Sergey.

Negotiations with Japanese companies such as Taiyo Seisakusho Co. Ltd, Obata Shuzo Co. Ltd, ActPro Co. Ltd, Tokyo Rope International Inc., Team Aibod Inc., Kasugai Kyoto Co. Ltd. were held as part of the forum.

Following the negotiations, further meetings are planned with the Asian-Pacific Bank's corporate customers to develop joint products for the Russian-Japanese market in the banking business, as well as in related promising areas and industry competencies, such as new information technologies, artificial intelligence, energy consumption optimization, technologies “Smart city”, fish processing, etc.
